Answers to some of the most common questions we are asked
For all levels you will need good written and spoken English, you will need to be able to cope with the course content and be in an emotionally stable enough place to work on your self-awareness and keep up with the course demands.
For higher levels of training, you will need to have completed earlier levels of training. If you have not done so, we may be able to recognise similar trainings or work experience, but the likelihood is that you will need to complete level 2 before level 3, level 3 before level 4, and level 4 before level 5.
This remains true even if you have other or higher level qualifications in another field, for example, if you have a degree in psychology with counselling, you are still likely to be invited to join a level 2 group, as the practical skills learning, experience, and self-development work are very different in these trainings.
Complete the enquiry form or email training@canta.training and request an application form for the course that you are interested in.
Once you have completed the application form and returned it, you will be invited to attend a telephone or online interview.
We are unable to support advanced learner loan applications or offer grant funding.
We do offer an instalment plan for all of our training courses, so you can spread the cost of the training over the duration of the training you are undertaking
Our training groups are limited to 10 people, we find this gives a good learning experience in a large enough group, while also keeping the group intimate enough.
Assessment is a continuous process throughout each course, there is homework each week, in class work, presentations, group work, skills practices, and assignments. However, there are no traditional exams
There is a minimum attendance requirement for each course, and you can not pass the training if your attendance does not exceed 85% of the lessons, however, the expectation is that you will attend all the lessons.
If you do miss lessons then it is your responsibility to go through the lesson materials provided and complete the learning in your own time.
